Section ¾ of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accused/petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and is in
custody since 26.11.2021.
The allegation against the petitioner, who is the
husband of the informant, is to commit cruelty by raising the
demand of dowry and finally ousted the informant/wife from
matrimonial home.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner
submitted that despite all the best efforts to settle the issue,
petitioner failed to arrive over any settlement with the
informant. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is
willing to keep the informant in her matrimonial home with all
love and dignity. This submission is supported by the averments
as set out in paragraph no.9 of the bail petition, which is duly
supported by affidavit.
Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State fairly
requested that some conditions be imposed which either may
help to conciliate the matter between the parties or to save the
informant/wife from facing destitution.
Considering the facts and circumstances as mentioned
above, as petitioner is willing to keep the informant/wife
alongwith him and further considering the period of cutstody, let
