1. The petitioners are aggrieved for the reason that they have not received any compensation till date subsequent to acquisition of their land for the purposes of widening of the roads.
2. It is submitted that the land belonging to the petitioners was acquired by notification dated 01-04-2015 of Collector/respondent No.3. No compensation was paid to the petitioners. The petitioners approached to respondent No.4 who directed respondent No.5 to prepare survey reports of the lands acquired. Respondent No.4 then prepared compensation cases of the petitioners under the Land Purchase Policy of 2016 to which the petitioners have objected praying that their case must be prepared under the Right to Fair compensation & Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013. The petitioners are deprived from the compensation and despite their rights no decision has been taken by the respondents. Hence, this case.
