Heard on admission.

1. The petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 3.8.2016 passed by the Jila

Panchayat by which junior of the petitioner has been promoted.

2. The order impugned is clearly appealable as provided under the Chhattisgarh

Panchayats (Appeal & Revision) Rules, 1995. The petitioner, instead of

preferring appeal, has filed this petition, therefore, the petition is not

maintainable. In the absence of there being any extraordinary ground

warranting interference by this Court without insisting on exhaustion of

alternative remedy, in view of law laid down by the Supreme Court in the case

of Whirlpool Corporation Vs. Registrar of Trade Marks, Mumbai (AIR 1999

SC 22).

3. Therefore, reserving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate remedy under

the law, the petition is dismissed.
