ORDER

Date : 24-02-2020 Heard Ms. L. Gee, learned counsel for the petitioner who prays for adjournment of the matter as her senior is out of station. Mr. D. Soki, learned Additional Senior Government appears on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner’s case as set out in the writ petition is for setting aside the impugned order dated 20.12.2017, issued by the respondent No. 2, Deputy Commissioner, West Siang District, Aalo by which, the petitioner has been dismissed from the post of HGB/GB of Kunu-Yami village, from the date of issuance of the order. The case of the writ petitioner is that he has not been given any notice or opportunity of hearing, prior to the impugned order dated 20.12.2017, being passed.

3. Mr. D. Soki, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate submits that petitioner was given notice and also submitted his written statement to the notice. As such, the ground taken by the petitioner for challenging the impugned order is without any basis.

4. On considering the documents in the writ petition, I find that the petitioner had been given notice for a public hearing to be held on 28.04.2017, at Dere of Kunu-Yami village, vide order dated 24.04.2017, issued by the respo
