1. This writ appeal has been preferred at the instance of Union of India through Secretary, Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and 3 (three) others in challenge to judgment dated 17.09.2018 rendered in writ petition being WP (C) 119 (AP)2018 titled ‘Sanjit Shah-vs-
Union of India & Ors.’
2. It appears that the respondent/ writ petitioner filed a petition with the plea that he had been working with the respondent No.3, North Eastern Institute of Folk Medicine, Pasighat (Govt. of India, Ministry of Ayush, Arunachal Pradesh), with effect from 23.12.2009 on the post of Pharmacist, initially on temporary basis and thereafter, on contract basis, and had been serving till filing of the petition. It was further pleaded by the respondent/ writ petitioner that he submitted a representation to respondent No.4 (Director, the North Eastern Institute of Folk Medicine, Pasighat (Govt. of India, Ministry of Ayush, Arunachal Pradesh) seeking permission to allow him to appear in the interview for the post of Pharmacist.
