ORDER :

1 By the present Petition, the Petitioner seeks a legal heirship certificate under Section 2 of the Bombay Regulation Act , VIII of 1827 in respect of the deceased Tulsabai Ramchandra Vaity, who expired at Mumbai on 22.07.2018. A copy of the death certificate is annexed to the Petition. The deceased was survived by the Petitioner, who is the son of the deceased, another son of the deceased and two daughters of the deceased, the particulars of the legal heirs and next of kin of the deceased are given in the tabular form at paragraph 4 of the Petition. The parents of the deceased predeceased the deceased. The husband of the deceased expired on 10.12.2003, predeceasing the deceased.

2 It is stated in the Petition that the legal heirship certificate is required to be produced before the MHADA, BMC, SRA, concerned Society or any other concerned authority to transfer the said property i.e. Room No.145, Building No.4, S.L. Raheja Road, Near St. Xavier College, Fisherman Colony, Mahim (W), Mumbai-400 016 in the name of the Petitioner.
