The applicant is seeking permission to withdraw entire amount of compensation which the appellant-acquiring body has deposited in this Court.
The learned Counsel for the acquiring body strongly opposed the application on the ground that the Reference Court has granted exorbitant amount of compensation.
However, it seems that the Reference Court has {2}
granted compensation roughly fve times more than the compensation granted by the SLAO.
Under such circumstances, the applicant is permitted to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount along with interest by furnishing usual undertaking and further permitted to withdraw 25% of the deposited amount along with interest by furnishing solvent surety/security to the satisfaction of Registrar (J) of this Court.
