passed by this Court in Contempt Petition No.1807 of 2014

in W.P.No.12161 of 2012, the order dated 01.07.2014 and

also wilfully violating the undertaking given by them.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining that

the direction given by this Court 02.08.2013 to the

respondent to initiate appropriate action under Section 52

(2) of the Wakf Act, 1995, within a period of six months

from the date of receipt of that order has not been

complied with.

2. After taking time, Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special

Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, today, by

placing on record the notice dated 22.04.2015 issued by the

District Collector, Thiruvannamalai to the encroachers,

submitted that the respondent has initiated the process to

comply with the order and hence the contempt petition may

be closed.

3. Hoping that the order of this Court would be

complied with fully, pursuant to the issuance of notice,

this Court, hereby closes the contempt petition.
