of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the

respondents herein to conduct the election of Salem Bar

Association with existing approved bye-law under the direct

supervision of any retired Judge of this Court or any other

neutral member to be appointed by this Court.

Mr.S.Manuraj, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on

instructions, submitted that during the pendency of this writ

petition, election was conducted to the Salem Bar Association

and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ

petition.

2.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned

counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as

having become infructuous. No costs.
