The Transport Corporation has come up with this appeal

mainly challenging the quantum of compensation awarded by the

Tribunal.

In an accident which occurred on 15.04.2011, the

claimant viz. P. Kiliyammal sustained grievous injuries and

immediately, he was admitted in Tiruvarur Medical College

Hospital, for treatment. Thereafter, she underwent treatment in

a private Hospital. She filed a Claim Petition before the

Tribunal seeking a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- as compensation. After
