Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein

and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased

to suspend the substative Sentence awarded by the Learned Sessions

Judge for offences against Women (Mahalir Needhimandram) Tuticorin,

in Spl.SC.No.38/2016 dated 10.9.2019 pending disposal of the main

appeal.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the

petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of

Mr.KA.RAAMAKRISHINAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of

Mr.R.ANANDHARAJ, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the

Respondent, the court made the following order:-

When this Court was about to dismiss the criminal miscellaneous

petition on merits, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner

submitted that he is withdrawing the same.
