PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

praying this Court to direct the first respondent to provide Police

Protection to the petitioner in continuing the lawful possession of

the demised premises at Door No. 8, Jadamuni Kovil South Street,

Madurai City based on the Injuction Order in I.A. No. 263/2009 in

O.S No. 145/2009 dated 16.07.2010, on the file of the learned V

Additional District Judge, Madurai.

ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a

direction to the first respondent to provide Police Protection to

the petitioner in continuing the lawful possession of the demised

premises at Door No. 8, Jadamuni Kovil South Street, Madurai City,

based on the Injuction Order in I.A.No. 263/2009 in O.S.No.145/2009,

dated 16.07.2010, on the file of the learned V Additional District

Judge, Madurai.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that

based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent

police had conducted enquiry and closed the same on 20.02.2021.

3.Recording the said submission, the criminal original petition

stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a

private complaint in the manner known to law, if so advised.
