Heard learned counsel for he parties.

The petitioners had acquired higher qualification

pursuant to that they were granted two increments on

account of acquiring such higher qualification as per the

incentive scheme vide circular contained at Annexure-1 to the

writ petition.

However, when the respondents floated the VRS

Scheme and the petitioners accepted their VRS package, the

same was calculated by not reckoning two advance

increments earlier granted to these petitioners. This is the

summary of the case of the petitioners. Petitioners have made

representation vide Annexure-7 series and also sent legal

notices through their lawyers.
