This Election Petition has been filed under Sections 80, 80

(A) and 81 of Representation of People Act, 1951 wherein the

petitioner has challenged the election of the sole respondent,

namely, Alok Chaurasia, who has been declared elected as a

member of Jharkhand Assembly from 76, Daltonganj Assembly

Constituency, Election of which was held on 25^th November 2014

in which following pleadings have been made:-

(i) That the S.D.M., Palamau was the Returning Officer of the

said Assembly Constituency.

(ii) That on the basis of the notification issued by the Election

Commission of India, the aforesaid Returning officer, issued

election programme giving details of the electi
