Heard, learned counsel for the parties.

Mr. Ram Prakash Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners has

submitted that the instant Writ Petition has been preferred by the

petitioners on 08.07.2008 for issuance of direction(s) upon the

respondents to issue rent receipts in the name of the petitioners for the

land comprised within Plot Nos.3158, 3748, 3611, 3744, 3773 and 3662

under Khata No.194, measuring an area of 37 acre 60 decimal in Village-

Simliya, Thana No.139 under the Police Station Ratu, in the District of

Ranchi. The said land was settled to Late Rangnath Sahu (deceased)

-husband of the petitioner No.1 and father of the petitioners nos.2 and 3

by the then Zamindar, Raja Thakur Mahendra Nath Sahdeo, who w
