The petitioner is an accused in connection with Rengarih P.S. Case

No.14 of 2020, corresponding to G.R. Case No.240 of 2021, registered for the

offence under Sections 394, 302 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 27,

25 (1-B) a/26 of the Arms Act.

Heard Md. Zaid Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mr. Shekhar Sinha, learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has

been implicated on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused person

namely, Julias Kujur and his statement has been recorded at paragraph No.194

of the case diary
