The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bariatu P.S. Case

No. 416 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No. 5679 of 2015 for the offence under

sections 419, 420, 467, 474 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case, in short, is that a complaint case bearing Complaint Case

No. 3224 of 2014 was filed by the complainant-Sarwjeet Kumar, which was trasferred

under section 156(3) Cr.P.C and on the bais of which the present Bariatu P.S. Case No.

416 of 2015 has been instituted on 17.07.2010 alleging therein that an agreement for

sale was entered into between the petitiioner-Sahid Jamal and the complainant with

regard to 22 Katha of land appertaining to Khata No. 189, Plot No. 1255 situated at
