In this petition, the prayer of the petitioner is that the Principal District

and Session Judge, Jammu be directed to allow the petitioner to work as private

typist in the District Court Complex, Janipur Jammu without any obstruction.

The petitioner has also prayed for a direction to the respondents not to evict him

from the District Court Complex, Janipur Jammu till the declaration of the result

of the typing test conducted by the respondents on 15.10.2012.

This petition came up for consideration on 09.06.2016 when this Court

while issuing notice to the respondent for filing objections also by way of

interim order directed the respondent to allow the petitioner to continue as

private typist in the District Court Complex, Jammu.

This petition is pending for more than last five years, neither the

respondent has appeared nor any objections have been filed to oppose this

petition. Otherwise also, having regard to the nature of the relief prayed for, this

petition is rendered infructuous. It is because of this reason perhaps the petitioner

has not been pursuing this petition and therefore, the writ petition is dismissed

for non-prosecution.
