THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE
THE FOLLOWING:
Learned HCGP takes notice for respondent No.1.
This petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under
Section 482 of Cr.P.C for quashing the proceedings against
the petitioner in C.C.No.51289/2021 for the offence
punishable under Section 380 of Indian Penal Code
pending on the file of X Additional Chief Metropolitan
Magistrate, Mayo Hall, Bengaluru.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner
and learned HCGP for the respondent No.1-State and
learned counsel for respondent No.2, appeared through
video conference.

3. During the pendency of the petition, both the
parties have filed application for joint compromise under
Section 320 read with 482 of Cr.P.C. The parties have
appeared through VC along with their counsel and submits
the matter has been settled. In view of the settlement
arrived between the parties and submission made by the
learned counsel for the parties, I.A.No.1/2022 is allowed.
The parties are permitted to compound the offences.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed, consequently,
the criminal proceedings against petitioner-accused in
C.C.No.51289/2021 pending on the file of X Additional
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Mayo Hall, Bengaluru, for
the offence punishable under section 380 of Indian Penal
Code, is hereby quashed.
