1. A complaint dated 20.03.2013 was lodged with respondent

No.1 - Police station by respondent No.2 alleging that there are

several hotels located in the area of Gandhinagar and

surrounding places in Bengaluru, which are employing minor

children and treating them as bonded labourers and exploiting

them. In the complaint, list of certain hotels alleged to have

indulged in the said offences has been given. Based upon the

said complaint, investigation was conducted and according to

prosecution, there are several hotels which are indulging in

such illegal activities and charge sheet is laid against 27 hotel

establishments and their owners for the offences punishable

under Section 14 of the Child and Adolescent Labour

- 3 -

(Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 and Sections 370 & 374

of IPC.

Aggrieved by the same, the instant petition is filed by

accused No.17. The case of the petitioner is that there are no

specific allegations made against the petitioner herein and the

petitioner - establishments has not indulged in the offences

alleged and the nature of the complaint and the allegations
