The petitioners in all these cases are candidates, who submitted applications for appointment to the post of Assistant Pharmacist in the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. They are aggrieved by the rejection of their candidature/non inclusion in the short list on the ground that they do not have computer qualification. As a common issue arises, all these cases are disposed of by this common judgment. The parties and documents referred to in this judgment are as described in w.P.(C)

2. The Kerala Public Service Commission ('the PSC'
for short) issued Ext.P1 notification in Kerala Gazette dated 13.06.2014 inviting applications for appointment to the post of Assistant Pharmacist in the scale of pay of Rs.5250-8390 as against 54 vacancies in the Civil Supplies Corporation. The qualifications prescribed for the post were as follows:
