This appeal is filed by the petitioner in OP No.187/03 on the file of Family Court, Manjeri. In the petition, she claimed return of `11,14,000/- and also `2,00,000/- towards the value of 50 sovereigns of gold ornaments allegedly misappropriated by the respondent.

2. Before the Family Court, the appellant and the respondent were examined as PW1 and RW1 and Exts.A1 to A4 and Ext.B1 were marked by the parties. The Family Court by the order under appeal dismissed the OP. It is aggrieved by the said order, the appellant has filed this appeal.

3. We heard the learned counsel for the parties and have also considered the submissions made.

4. Briefly stated, the facts are that the appellant and the respondent were husband and wife and their marriage was solemnized in 1980. In the wedlock, they have four children. Subsequently, by virtue of the decree passed by the Family Court in OP No.123/03, their marriage was dissolved. According to the appellant, at the time of marriage, respondent was employed in the gulf countries. After her education, she too was taken to his place of employment in 1984.
