This appeal is filed by the petitioner in OP(Divorce)

No.337/08 on the file of Family Court, Thiruvalla. The marriage between the appellant husband and the respondent wife was solemnized on 11/2/1985. According to the appellant, right from the inception of the married life, respondent was behaving in an unusual and strange manner and from his enquiry, he finally realised that at the time of marriage, respondent was pregnant. Appellant contended that the pregnancy of the respondent wife was concealed from him and that his consent was obtained suppressing the said fact. It is also stated that, on 21/3/1985, the wife was taken to Menathottam Hospital, Ranny and it was confirmed that she was pregnant by six months. It is stated that, on that day, she left for her house and that the parties are not in relationship thereafter. It is making these allegations and invoking Sections 18 and 19 of the Divorce Act, the appellant filed the OP before the Family Court.
