JUDGMENT

Petitioner is the second accused in C.C.No.827 of 2007 on the files of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothamangalam arising from crime No.51 of 2004 of Kottappady Police Station. The allegation against the petitioner is one of commission of offences under sections 403, 409, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The gist of the allegation against the petitioner and her co-accused is that they misappropriated the funds of Kottappady Service Co- operative Bank No. E-155. The petitioner is working as the Chief Accountant in the said bank and her co-accused was then working as Head Clerk. This petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of C.C.No.827 of 2007 on the files of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothamangalam. It is contended that despite the awards passed by the Co-operative Arbitration Court as also the Co-operative O.P.(Crl.).340/13 2 Tribunal, the petitioner was not reinstated into service solely on account of the aforesaid criminal proceedings. It is in the said circumstances that this petition has been filed with the aforesaid prayer.
