O R D E R

This Review Petition is filed by the appellants 1 and 2 in A.S.108 of 1998 for reviewing the judgment and decree in that appeal dated 6.10.2009. The first respondent herein is the plaintiff and the second respondent is the third defendant in O.S.79/95 on the file of the Sub Court, Thalassery, which was filed by the plaintiff to realise a sum of Rs.27,264/- with 12% interest as damages. That suit was decreed, allowing the plaintiff to realize a sum of Rs.10,900/- with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of suit till realization and costs from defendants 1 and 2. The third respondent is exonerated from the liability. Against that judgment and decree, the defendants 1 and 2 in that suit filed A.S.108/98 before this court and as per the judgment dated 6.10.2009, the judgment and decree in O.S.79/95 was modified, allowing the plaintiff/first respondent to realize a sum of Rs.7,617/- (i.e., Rs.6,017/- as maternity leave salary and Rs.1,600/- as ad hoc bonus), together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the R.P.219/10 2 date of the suit till date of realization and proportionate costs from defendants 1 and 2.
