JUDGMENT

The petitioner has come up before this Court seeking a direction to the second respondent to appoint him as Management Trainee in one of the 15 existing vacancies under the first respondent considering the fact that he is the son of a Project Affected Person as provided under Ext.P2 scheme.

2. The petitioner's father had 5.5 acres of land in Sy.No.303/26 of Kazhakkoottam-Meenakulam Village, Thiruvananthapuram District. The same was acquired by the State on the request of the respondent Corporation for the establishment of LPG Bottling Plant. The petitioner alleges that the Ministry of Industries, Government of India, issued a scheme stating guidelines for acquisition to minimize the WPC No.4059/2011 2 grievances of the persons from whom properties and homestead were acquired. The petitioner alleges that the petitioner's father's name ought to have been included in the list of Project Affected Persons forwarded by the Land Acquisition authorities. However, the Land acquisition authorities omitted to incorporate the name of the petitioner's father in the list of Project Affected Persons.
