STATE OF KERALA – Respondent
The petitioner approached the District
Collector by Ext.P2 alleging that party respondents
have encroached upon the Government land. In the
light of the fact that Ext.P2 is yet to be acted
upon, there shall be a direction to the District
Collector or any competent authority under him to
consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 after hearing
the petitioner, respondents 6 and 7 and any other
encroachers within a period of two months. If it
is found that the Government land has been
encroached upon, necessary steps shall be taken to
remove such encroachment strictly following the
procedures under the Land Conservancy Act within a
further period of two months.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
