The petitioner, who is working as Overseer in the
KSEBL, has approached this Court challenging Ext.P5 order
of transfer, to the extent it transfers the petitioner from
Kuthumunda Sub Station under Transmission Wing to
Meppadi Electrical Section under Distribution Wing.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits
that the petitioner had been posted at Kuthumunda Sub
Station only in the year 2018 and that there is no reason to
transfer him. It is also stated that the petitioner has physical
disabilities, which prevents him from carrying out extensive
travel which is required under the Distribution Wing.
Pointing out these aspects of the matter, the petitioner has
preferred Ext.P7 representation before the respondents,
which has been forwarded to the 1st respondent.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the
respondents submits that Ext.P7 representation will be taken
up and considered, taking note of the specific grounds raised
by the petitioner and taking note of the physical difficulties,
which have been raised by the petitioner.
