JUDGMENT

Petitioner is a 10th standard student of the Government High School, Adimali and this writ petition is filed allegedly aggrieved by the sudden cancellation of the SSLC Mathematics examination held on 20.3.2017 by the respondents. According to the petitioner, she was studying for the examination for the last one month and after the starting of the examination on 8.3.2017, she was continuously attending her examinations. The mathematics examination conducted on 20.3.2017, was attended by her after thorough preparation. However, on 25.3.2017, four days of the examination, respondents cancelled the examination and re-scheduled fresh examination on 30.3.2017. According to the petitioner, reason for the cancellation of the examination is that the question leaked through some source, which were given to some private tuition centres. Therefore, the reasons stated for the cancellation of the examination is not sufficient and the so called leakage is only a technical reason. These are the background facts projected by the petitioner seeking to quash the initiative undertaken by the Government to conduct the examination on 30.3.2017.
