This writ petition is filed by the petitioner, challenging

Ext.P6 order passed by the Secretary of the Vengoor Grama

Panchayat dated 15.5.2014, directing the petitioner to stop the

quarrying activities and removal of the soil.

This writ petition was pending before this Court from

the year 2014, without securing any orders. If the petitioner has

secured necessary clearances from the respective statutory

authorities, and continuing any activities, after securing D & O

license, petitioner will be at liberty to do so. I also make it clear

that if the petitioner has not secured any clearances from the

respective statutory authorities, petitioner will be at liberty to

make suitable application and submit application for D & O

licence before the Panchayat and if any such exercise is

undertaken by the petitioner, Panchayat will consider the same

in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
