JUDGMENT
Petitioners are 3rd Semester LL.B students in the 3rd respondent institution. The subject matter of the writ petitions is common in nature relating to the attendance shortage suffered by the petitioners to sit for the 3rd Semester examinations. Therefore, I heard them together and propose to deliver a common judgment. Facts and documents required for the disposal of the writ petitions discernible from W.P.(C)
No.16023 of 2017 are recited hereunder.
2. Petitioners are 3rd Semester LL.B students in the 3rd respondent Law College. Petitioners, in the first two writ petitions, have a case that they are active both in academic and extra-curricular activities in the college. Being a new campus, substantial construction activities are being carried on for the last around six months, and new buildings are coming up. The construction activities is causing sound and air pollution and due to the physical ailments, the petitioners could not attend classes properly. It is also contended that, W.P.(C) No.16023/17 & con. cases 2 they are hailing from very poor families and therefore, if the petitioners have to undergo the 3rd Semester again, they have no financial background to pursue the s
