1. Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:-

“A)Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or

direction thereby direct the 1^st respondent to issue new ration card to

the petitioner after deleting his name from Exhibit P2 or delete the

names of the other members in Exhibit P2 and issue a new ration

card to the other members in Exhibit P2.

B)Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or

direction thereby direct the respondents to take effective and speedy

steps to issue ration card to the petitioner by considering Exhibit P3

application.”

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned

Government Pleader.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Exhibit

P3 application has been submitted seeking issuance of fresh ration

card after deleting the petitioner's name from Exhibit P2 card. It is

submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a

matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and his wife and

petitioner's wife and children are residing separately. It is stated

that since the petitioner's name is also included in the family ration
