Petitioner approached this Court complaining that her younger daughter Rekha. P, a B.Com degree student at the St.Theresa's College, Ernakulam went to the College on 29/7/13 and that she did not return from the college and her whereabouts was also not known. He also averred that, on enquiry, he came to know that she was in the house of one Hashy, whose address and other details were unknown to him. It is in these circumstances, he filed this writ petition with a prayer for the issue of a writ of habeas corpus for the production of the alleged detenue.
2. Heard the learned counsel, who entered appearance for the alleged detenue in this case.

From the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, it is revealed that on a complaint made by the petitioner, she was traced out from the house of the aforesaid Hashy, a resident of Mulavukadu and on the appearance of the alleged detenue and the aforesaid Hashy before the 3rd respondent, they revealed that they were majors and that they were residing together at the house of the latter.
