J U D G M E N T
The petitioner sold a motor vehicle owned by him to the third respondent on 30.06.2011. Ext.P1 is the agreement entered into between the petitioner and the third respondent in this connection. According to the petitioner, though he had signed and handed over to the third respondent the intimation to be given to the registering authority in Form 30 at the time of execution of Ext.P1 agreement, it was revealed later that the third respondent has sold the vehicle to the fourth respondent without transferring the vehicle to their name. It is the case of the petitioner that when he came to know of the said fact, he preferred a complaint before the police and though the fourth respondent undertook before the police that he will immediately take steps to change the registration of the vehicle, he has not honoured the said undertaking. Ext.P4 is the undertaking claimed to have been given by the fourth respondent to the petitioner on 23.11.2013. It is the further case of the petitioner that though he has brought the said fact to the notice of the police as also the registering authority, no action is taken by them in this regard.
