JUDGMENT

This writ petition is fled by the petitioner challenging the inaction on the part of respondents 2 and 3 to accept land tax from the petitioner in respect of his 28 cents of property out of the total extent of 1 Acre 17 cents comprised in Survey Nos.157/1, 157/2 and 157/3 of Thaikkad Village, Chavakkad Taluk, as also seeking to in correct classification of the said 28 cents, which is a pond within the petitioner's property, as Government land in the Fair Value Register. Seeking correction of the Fair Value Register, petitioner has submitted Ext.P5 application and Ext.P6 application is also submitted before the first respondent seeking direction to collect land tax. The sum and substance of the contention put forth by the petitioner in this writ petition is that, the land belonging to the petitioner is shown in the Fair Value Register as property belonging to the Government. Consequent to which, there is no fair value fixed as provided under 28A of the Kerala Stamp Act, 1959. It is in this regard, petitioner has submitted Ext.P5 application and seeks appropriate direction for an early consideration of Ext.P5, in this writ petition.
