The petitioner herein has now been additionally arrayed

as accused No.3 in the instant Crime No.1468/2019 of

Neyyattinkara Police Station, which has been registered for offences

punishable under Secs.323, 506(i), 354, 354(A)(i) & 34 of the IPC,

Secs. 7 r/w 8, 9(l) (m) (n) r/w 10, 16 r/w 17 of the POCSO Act and

Sec.75 of the Juvenile Justice Act. The abovesaid crime has been

initially registered on the basis of the FIS of the minor victim girl

aged 11 years given on 18.10.2019 at about 6.10 pm, in respect of

the alleged incidents which have happened for the period from

1.4.2019 to 30.9.2019. A1 in this case is the father of the minor

victim girl and A2 is a friend of A1. So also, the petitioner herein

who has been additionally arrayed as accused No.3 is a friend of A1.

It appears that the information regarding the sexual

assault suffered by the minor victim girl has been disclosed when

the Child Welfare Committee/Child Line authorities had interacted

with the victim girl, and pursuant thereto the police has been

alerted and the FIS of the minor victim girl has been recorded on

18.10.2019 at 5 pm. Therein she has disclosed that A1, who is her
