J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is aggrieved with the rejection at Ext.P10, of his application for the post of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector in the various Police Forces directly under the Central Government.

2. The petitioner had applied under a notification issued on 28.03.2015. The last date of the application was 2.5.2015. The petitioner is said to have opted for five services being the Delhi Police (A), the Central Industrial Security Force (C), the Border Security Force (B), Indo-Tibeten Border Police Force (E) and Sasasthra Suraksha Bal (F). This is clear from Exts.P3 and P4 admit cards issued by the respondent on the application of the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner qualified in the written tests and was called for the interview. The petitioner is also said to have attended the normal Medical Board in which he has been cleared, as is indicated at Ext.P6. Ext.P7 is the call letter for interview, at which point he produced the OBC certificate in the format prescribed under the notification, as is seen at Ext.P9.
