O R D E R
Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.186/2018 of Perambra Police Station, Kozhikode District for offences punishable under Sections 326 and 506 IPC. The allegation is that on 04.04.2018 at 4.30 p.m., petitioner, who is a student of a college, punched on the nose of the de facto complainant. He sustained nasal bone fracture and was bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital and was administered immediate medical attention. Crime was registered and apprehending arrest, petitioner seeks bail.
2. It was contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent of the crime and he has been wrongly implicated due to political reasons. On the other hand, the records revealed that the petitioner has a propensity to create issues. It seems that the petitioner without any provocation hit on the nose of the de facto complainant. Though the petitioner seems to be only 19 years, there are several allegations against him. Having considered the young age of the petitioner, I am inclined to avoid a custodial interrogation and to grant the benefit of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.
