applicant. Also heard Mr. Debendra, learned GA for the State

respondents.

the

applicant

namely,

Shri

Chanbambam Kenedy Singh, aged about 43 years, S/o (late) Ch.

Munal Singh, resident of Mayang Imphal Chabung Company Mayai

Leikai, P.O & P.S Mayang Imphal, Imphal West District, Manipur is

praying for impledment as legal heir of the petitioner in WP(C) No. 169

of 2021.

It is submitted that the father of the applicant namely,

Chanambam Munal Singh had filed a writ petition being WP(C) No. 169

of 2021 praying for compensation due to the expiry of his younger son

by electrocution by a high tension electric wire. During the pendency of

the writ petition, the petitioner namely, Chanambam Munal Singh died

on 21-06-2021. It is submitted that the applicant is the only male

member of his family and therefore, he prays for being impleaded as

the legal heir of the petitioner in WP(C) No. 169 of 2021.

Mr. Debendra, learned GA submits that they have filed

objections in the present application as the required documents were

not submitted by the applicant. However, the applicant has already

submitted the required documents and therefore, he submits that

necessary order may be passed by this Court.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, this Court is

satisfied with the cause shown in the present application and

accordingly, the application is allowed.

Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel for all the
