Heard Dipendu Sundar Ray, learned counsel

for the petitioner and Mr. Prassanajit Mohapatra,

learned Additional Standing Cousnel for the State.

In the present writ petition, the petitioner

has sought for direction to the Collector and District

Magistrate, Balasore-opposite party no.2 to grant

Financial Assistance as well as to grant death benefit to

the petitioner along with his family members of the

deceased Anganwadi Worker of the Ishani Anganwadi

Center of Sargaon Gram Panchayat under Balasore

Sadar Block in the district of Balasore in consonance

with the resolution dated 04.08.2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits

that the deceased Anganwadi Worker of the Ishani

Anganwadi Center of Sargaon Gram Panchayat under

Balasore Sadar Block in the district of Balasore was

working in active line of duty in fighting Covid-19

pandemic sincerely and died as a Corona Warrior.
