Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mr.A.Das, learned counsel appearing for National Highway

Authority of India.

Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a

direction to opposite party No.1-Collector-cum-Arbitraror,

Deogarh to recalculate the compensation amount and

release the total structure value as per the policy circular

dated 10.4.2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

the petitioner claims for higher compensation in respect of

acquisition of his land by the national Highway Authority for

the purpose of expansion and construction of NH-6(49) in

the district of Keonjhar. Being aggrieved by the award

passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, the petitioner has

filed a claim application under Section 3G(5) of the National

Highway Act before opposite party No.1-Collector-cum-

Arbitrator, Deogarh since 24.9.2019 which is pending

consideration.
