In the wake of the pandemic Covid-19, the

case is taken up through V.C.

Heard.

This revision has been filed by the petitioners

challenging the order dated 20.01.2020 passed by the

learned Special Judge, Balasore in Special Case No.171

of 2019 in Special Case No.171 of 2019 rejecting the

petition filed by them for drawl of the sample from the

bulk quantity of the heroin and sending the same for

chemical examination as the same stated to have been

seized from the possession of the petitioners and the

earlier chemical examination does not specifically

indicate the percentage of the heroin in the sample

sent.

It appears that the petitioners had earlier

approached this Court with such prayer which was

refused by this Court, but giving them liberty to file

such petition before the trial Court after charge-sheet is

filed. Accordingly, the petitioners approached the trial

Court after submission of charge-sheet to draw sample
