Heard Mr. A. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner

and Mr. D.K. Pani, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the

State.

The petitioner has filed this application seeking to

quash the notification dated 16.09.2010 in Annexure-6 for

selection and appointment of Anganwadi Worker in respect of

Kotraguda Anganwadi Centre under Nandahandi Block and

further seeks for a direction to opposite party no.4 to act on

the merit list under Annexure-3 and direct the authorities to

provide appointment order to the petitioner in the post of

Anganwadi Worker in the very same Anganwadi Centre.

Mr. A. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner

contended that an advertisement was issued on 27.10.2009

inviting applications from eligible candidates belonging to SC

and ST category for filling up of the post of Anganwadi

Worker in respect of Kotraguda Anganwadi Centre, pursuant

to which the petitioner and others applied for the same and

the petitioner having secured highest mark, she has been

selected and when the appointment order was issued on

22.01.2010 enabling her to join, at that point of time, on

receiving the memorandum of President, BJD Block Level and
