This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to
quash Annexure-2, as the same has no application to the case
of the petitioner, and further seeks direction to the opposite
parties to hold that the petitioner is entitled to furnish the
revised option. He further seeks direction to the opposite
parties to accept the revised option and extend the
consequential service and financial benefits flowing out of
such acceptance of revised option within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner
states that the petitioner has already made grievance to
opposite party no.2 under Annexure-1, which is pending for
consideration. Therefore, direction may be given to the
authority to take a decision on the same within a stipulated
time, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this
Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party
no.2 to take a decision on the grievance made by the petitioner
under Annexure-1 dated 22.05.1999, and pass appropriate in
accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably
within a period of three months from the date of receipt of
certified copy of this order.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
