Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mr.A.Das, learned counsel appearing for opposite party

No.2-National Highway Authority of India.

Petitioner in this writ petition assails the award

dated 8.8.2020 passed by opposite party No.2-Special land

Acquisition

Officer

&

Competent

Authority,

N.H.-25,

Keonjhar in L.A. Case No. 2/02/2020.

It is contended that the land of the petitioner

was acquired for public purpose for which L.A. Case No.

2/02/2020 was initiated and award was passed on

8.8.2020. He further submitted that neither the awarded

amount was handed over to the petitioner nor it was referred

to the Civil Court for adjudication. Hence the present writ

petition.

Mr.A.Das, learned counsel appearing for the

National Highway Authority of India submits that the matter

was already referred to the Civil Court as provided under

Section 3-H(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956 and same

was registered as C.M.A. No. 7 of
