Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Addl. Government Advocate.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the opp

osite parties to make payment of the amount of compensation in respect of the dwelling house a

s assessed along with interest within a stipulated period.

On perusal of records, it appears that for widening and strengthening of State Highway

No.53 (Bhadrak-Basantia Road) under Odisha State Road Project the land of the petitioner appe

rtaining to Plot No.4684 under Khata No.103 measuring an area of Ac.0.894 dec. of Mouza - Til

lo in the district of Bhadrak was acquired in pursuance of Annexure-1 vide L.A Case No.46 of 2

009 under the provision of Land Acquisition Act. The said land is the homestead land of the p

etitioner. The compensation amount in respect of the land was determined to the tune of Rs.86

,922/- and the same was paid to the petitioner. On the said acquired land the petitioner had

a dwelling house and a Huller etc. by which he was maintaining his livelihood. However, the c
