1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

learned counsel for the State.

3. The petitioner is in custody since 20.11.2021 in

connection with P.R. No. 156 of 2021-22 corresponding

to 2(a)CC Case No. 54 of 2021 pending in the Court of

learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge,

Cuttack.

4. This Court finds that trial is at the fag end with

only the IO to be examined. In such view of the matter,

I am not inclined to entertain this application, which is

therefore, rejected.

5. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial as

early as possible, preferably within a period of two

months.
