Petitioner is a retired Naib Tehsildar. He is stated to have been
attacked by un-identified persons on 7.2.2012 leading to registration of an
FIR under Section 307 IPC, registered on 8.2.2012 at PS Dabba, now
District Ludhiana.
Since the investigations had borne no fruits, petitioner had
made a representation dated 5.1.2015 before Commissioner of
Police,Ludhiana. Petitioner also filed CRM-M-44219/2015, seeking a
direction to the police authorities which was disposed of vide order dated
5.1.2016 by this Court with the direction to Commissioner of Police,
Ludhiana to look into the aforesaid representation and take action in
accordance with law.
In the instant petition contempt of said direction dated 5.1.2016
is complained of.
On examination of the pleadings, this Court is not inclined to
invoke the contempt jurisdiction.
