The present appeal has been preferred by Amar Iqbal Singh.

He has been convicted and sentenced by the Court of Additional Sessions

Judge, Ludhiana under Section 304-B IPC to undergo 7 years rigorous

imprisonment and a fine of Rs.1,000/-. In default of payment of fine to

further undergo rigorous imprisonment for two months.

Amar Iqbal Singh was tried in case FIR No.11 dated

24.1.1993 registered at Police Station Division No.4, Ludhiana under

Sections 302/304-B/306/511 and 120-B IPC along his father Harbhajan
