By this petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the

nature of 'mandamus' directing the respondents to refund the amount as per

the policy/directions contained in circular Memo No.U.B.-A-6-2013/7934-

57 dated 18.02.2013 (Annexure P-4).

In respect of his grievance, the petitioner is stated to have got

issued a legal notice on 25.01.2022 (copy Annexure P-6) to the respondents,

which has not been decided so far.

Consequently, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the

competent authority among the respondents to take a decision on the

aforesaid legal notice, within a period of three months from the date of the

receipt of a certified copy of this order.

If the petitioner is found entitled to refund of the amount (as
